What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments and formulate care plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and families.
  • Work alongside social work colleagues, family workers, an enhanced practitioner, and social work consultants.
  • Participate in reflective supervision sessions to continually improve and refine practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including dedicated services such as CAMHS, exploitation workers, and rapid response teams.
  • Engage in direct work with children and families, using your wisdom to teach and guide less experienced team members.
  • Support kinship carers and the dedicated pre-birth team, ensuring comprehensive care provision.
  • Work closely with one point early help and innovative family hubs to provide holistic child and family support.
  • Share knowledge and experiences with students and new social workers, contributing to a nurturing learning environment.
