Senior Social Worker - Substance Misuse Team within the Centralised Social Work Mental Health Team in Ealing, earning £36 per hour, full-time. What you will do:
- Demonstrate expertise and effective practice in complex social work situations, providing guidance and direction to colleagues.
- Manage workloads efficiently, supporting team members with challenging cases, and leading by example with good practice.
- Collaborate with fellow senior social workers to screen safeguarding referrals and devise responsive plans for safeguarding concerns.
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of data, reports, and presentations.
- Represent the service in meetings with other external professionals and agencies.
- Offer supervisory support to junior staff members, nurturing their growth and development.
- Operate in accordance with the Council’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
