What you will do:

  • Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and therapists to deliver a holistic educational program that supports both the academic and personal growth of students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for children with ADHD, ASD, Asperger’s or SEMH, enhancing their communication skills.
  • Provide training and support to school staff to ensure the integration of speech and language strategies in everyday classroom activities.
  • Engage with parents and carers, offering guidance and updates on their child's progress and ways to support them at home.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments and interventions, contributing to reports and reviews as needed.


Requirements:

  • Must be registered with HCPC.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant specialism.
  • Preferably a car driver for ease of travelling between multiple sites.
