What you will do:

Lead the North Family Safeguarding Service to ensure the delivery of high-quality, child-focused social care services.

Manage and supervise the team to ensure best practices are in place, promoting positive outcomes through timely interventions within statutory guidelines.

Establish and nurture collaborative partnerships with other areas of children’s services, partner agencies, and external organisations.

Implement strategies and business plans that align with national standards, legislation, and policy guidance to meet local and national targets effectively.

Contribute to strategic development by taking lead responsibility for specific aspects within children’s social care and collaborating with other partner agencies to achieve best outcomes for children and families.

Oversee the prioritisation process, ensure accurate assessment of needs, and safeguard children by promoting their well-being and protecting them from harm.
