Locum Social Worker within Children with Disabilities Team in Oxfordshire UK. PAYE: £30.50 Umbrella: £38.00 Hourly. Full Time position with ongoing opportunities. Work in a hybrid model - two days a week in the office with flexibility, plus team meetings twice a month in person. Thursday is an office day. This exciting opportunity is ideal for experienced social workers with safeguarding skills and a strong background in working with children with disabilities. We need someone who is ready to make a difference within a week or two!

What you will do:

- Assess the needs of disabled children and their families, and provide vital social care services to support them.
- Engage in child protection and court work, ensuring that the best interests of the children are represented and upheld.
- Collaborate with other teams such as Child Protection, Children in Care, Children in Need, and manage assessment and court proceedings to deliver holistic care plans.
- Work with Children in Need, those subject to Child Protection plans, involved in Care Proceedings, as well as those We Care For and Leaving Care.
- Bring your disability expertise to the forefront, acting as a key player in our committed team, and contributing to the safety and well-being of the children we support.
