Exciting opportunity for a Supervising Social Worker in the Fostering, Supervision & Support Team in Exeter & East Devon! This full-time role of 37 hours per week offers an attractive hourly rate of up to £36, with an ongoing contract. This work aligns with the National Minimum Standards for Fostering and Fostering Services Regulations 2011.

What you will do:
- Conduct unannounced visits and annual reviews to maintain high standards of foster placements
- Provide training and guidance to both prospective and current foster carers
- Advocate for high-standard fostering practices through your sound knowledge of relevant legislation
- Manage your caseload effectively, using stellar time-management, recording, and planning skills
- Collaborate across the South Fostering area, offering essential support and supervision

Skills & Experience Required:
- Hold a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England
- Completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
- Demonstrable post-qualifying experience in children and families social work
- Proven knowledge of fostering regulations and related legal frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and within a team
