Seven Resourcing is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Housing Options Officer to work remotely in the UK, earning £29.35 per hour via umbrella and £22 per hour via PAYE. This role is set to commence in January for an initial period of 1 month, with a full-time schedule of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As a Housing Options Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance to those facing homelessness or at risk, helping them explore their housing options and secure suitable accommodations.

What you will do:
- Provide expert advice, information, and assistance to applicants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
- Guide applicants through their housing options to find suitable accommodations that meet their needs.
- Work collaboratively with a variety of partners and agencies to prevent and reduce homelessness in the community.
- Offer informed advice on homelessness prevention, housing options, and security of tenure through multiple communication channels.
- Make thorough enquiries and gather all relevant applicant information to support decision making.
- Manage the progression of all homeless and housing applications, ensuring compliance with legislations and the Homelessness Code of Guidance.
- Conduct detailed assessments of homelessness causes and applicant needs, creating personalised housing plans as required.
- Make informed decisions on the duties owed to applicants, updating them within target times.
- Facilitate referrals to partner agencies for additional support services as needed.

Essential Criteria:
- A current driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required as part of this role, for occasional client visits.
