What you will do:

  • Complete Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments for children and young people aged 0–19.

  • Undertake speech and language assessments within mainstream schools for children aged 5–19.

  • Carry out formal and informal assessments to identify and support children’s communication needs.

  • Write clear, comprehensive reports to inform decision-making and intervention planning.

  • Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals to implement effective therapy strategies and support positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant post-qualification experience.

  • Proven experience completing EHC needs assessments and working within mainstream school settings.

  • Confidence using both formal and informal assessment tools.

  • Current HCPC registration is essential.

  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel between sites within Redbridge.
