What you will do

  • Lead the assurance of Youth Justice work in Hackney, ensuring it aligns with national standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain robust systems for risk and vulnerability management.
  • Be responsible for setting up quality assurance routines, including monthly case audits and National Standards reviews.
  • Analyse performance data to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage and report on local improvement and statutory Youth Justice Plans while enhancing shared learning opportunities.
  • Design and contribute to the delivery of comprehensive intervention programmes aimed at crime prevention and offending reduction.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to promote effective assessments and intervention plans.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to continually drive practice improvements.
  • Mentor and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements and contribute to the strategic development of the Youth Justice Service.
