What you will do:
- Manage a caseload of children and families, conducting thorough assessments aligned with statutory and local procedures.
- Develop and implement Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) plans.
- Work directly with children and families to foster positive and lasting outcomes.
- Prepare assessments, reports, and statements, and participate in court proceedings as necessary.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Maintain accurate case records adhering to data protection guidelines.
- Assist in permanency planning for children in care or transitioning out of care.
About You:
You are a qualified and experienced Social Worker with at least four years of post-qualification experience in Children's Services. You possess strong skills in assessment, care planning, safeguarding, and court work. You are culturally aware, professionally curious, and excel in making sound decisions in complex situations.
