What You Will Do:

• Lead and manage the Kinship & Post Order Support Team, ensuring high-quality assessment, support, and supervision for children and families.

• Supervise an Assistant Team Manager and a team of social workers, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards.

• Conduct high-quality assessments of kinship carers, supporting the safe placement of vulnerable children within their families.

• Deliver comprehensive Special Guardianship Support Services, enabling families to provide excellent care throughout a child’s life.

• Foster effective partnership working with Council services and partner agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Contribute to the council's vision for Children’s Social Care, meeting strategic objectives and priorities.

• Demonstrate proficiency across the Professional Capabilities Framework at Advanced Social Worker level and apply knowledge of the Skills Statement for practice supervisors.
