What you will do:

  • Provide a highly specialist service to children with Occupational Therapy needs, using your expertise to assess, diagnose, and develop tailored therapy packages.
  • Lead the development and delivery of training packages for school staff, parents, and other professionals, ensuring they are equipped to support children's needs effectively.
  • Prioritise the safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people, maintaining high standards of care at all times.
  • Support the service in monitoring and achieving Key Performance Indicators, demonstrating quality and outcomes.
  • Take the lead in quality governance, audits, and projects within the team or service.
  • Manage the performance of identified team members, supporting their growth and skill enhancement.
  • Aid the team leader in the ongoing development of the team, stepping up to manage daily operations in their absence when needed.


To succeed in this role, you must be an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist and possess a valid driving licence to travel between sites and clients as needed.
