What you will do:

• Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and support a team of Social Workers and specialist practitioners within the Children with Disabilities Team.

• Caseload Oversight: Allocate and monitor caseloads to ensure effective workload management and timely service delivery.

• Performance Management: Conduct supervision, appraisals, and professional development discussions to support high-quality practice.

• Statutory Services: Oversee assessments, care planning, reviews, and statutory interventions for children and young people with disabilities.

• Safeguarding: Provide oversight and management of complex safeguarding concerns, ensuring effective risk assessment and intervention.

• Multi-Agency Working: Work collaboratively with health professionals, education services, voluntary organisations, and other partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.

• Quality Assurance: Monitor service quality through audits, performance analysis, and compliance reviews, driving continuous improvement.
