What you will do:

• Undertake complex Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, and support planning, ensuring outcomes-focused and proportionate interventions.
• Lead and coordinate safeguarding adults enquiries (Section 42), managing risk and promoting wellbeing in line with statutory guidance.
• Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and contribute to best interest decision-making, including court-related work where required.
• Manage a complex caseload and provide professional advice and oversight on high-risk cases within the locality team.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work (UK recognised).

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Sound working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding adults frameworks.

Experience:

• Significant post-ASYE experience within UK local authority adult social care.
• Proven experience managing complex cases involving high levels of risk.
• Experience of supervising or mentoring practitioners within a statutory setting.
