Be part of an exciting opportunity to work with a vibrant Special Educational Needs and Children with Disabilities Team in Redbridge for an initial period of 3 months. As a locum Social Worker, you will be engaging with dynamic cases and onsite support three days a week. With a commitment of 35 hours per week, this role promises both flexibility and fulfilment as you manage a caseload involving CLA, CP plans, CiN plans, C&F Assessments, PLO, private and public proceedings. Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding and supporting less experienced members of the team while you complete panel requests.

What you will do:

  • Provide expert guidance and support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Manage and execute comprehensive assessments and plans including CLA, CP plans, and CiN plans.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and holistic care.
  • Complete panel requests effectively while supporting and offering guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Engage with both private and public proceedings to ensure the welfare of children within your caseload.
