What you will do:

  • Work as an autonomous practitioner in a range of settings, providing high-quality paediatric occupational therapy to support children and young people with disabilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address occupational therapy needs and offer specialist advice to other disciplines
  • Manage a specialist caseload, contributing to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments and multidisciplinary team reviews
  • Apply your expertise in clinical assessment and intervention within paediatrics
  • Utilise your knowledge of child development, neuro-development, and childhood occupations to design and prioritise effective treatment plans
  • Create comprehensive reports for use by multiple agencies and partake in clinical audits and research
  • Provide support and training to school staff and caregivers, enhancing their ability to implement OT programmes
  • Supervise students or junior support staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth

To thrive in this role, you must be an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with a valid driving licence.
