What you will do

• Lead and coordinate tasks that enable the successful delivery of the business objectives in the Adults Social Care team.
• Appraise and supervise staff effectively to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding adults according to local and national policies and legislation.
• Support team members in maintaining high professional standards, promoting a strengths-based model of self-directed support.
• Directly supervise selected staff, manage workload allocations, and monitor performance.
• Be financially astute, managing projects within budgetary priorities, and maximize service user independence.
• Maintain high standards of practice and ensure accountability in service delivery.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary approach, partnering with health and care integration plans in Hackney.
• Work closely with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to balance development and practice work.
• Operate within an agreed performance management and budgetary framework.
• Contribute to Quality Assurance Frameworks and collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team to enhance existing practices.
