What you will do:

• Case Assessment: Undertake initial assessments and risk analyses using evidence-based practice and sound professional judgement.

• Multi-Agency Working: Work closely with Greater Manchester Police, health professionals, education providers, and other safeguarding partners to support informed decision-making.

• Risk Management: Evaluate and manage safeguarding risks, escalating concerns where immediate protective action is required.

• Decision Making: Contribute to decisions regarding thresholds for intervention, support services, and safeguarding responses.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive records in accordance with statutory and organisational requirements.

• Professional Practice: Participate in supervision, maintain professional registration, and uphold high standards of social work practice.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with statutory guidance and contribute to audits, quality assurance activities, and service improvement initiatives.
