What you will do:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families, including risk assessments and analysis, in line with GIRFEC and relevant legislation
- Manage a caseload involving Child Protection, Children in Need, and Looked After Children, ensuring statutory timescales are met
- Develop, implement and review Child’s Plans, working collaboratively with families and partner agencies
- Lead and contribute to Child Protection Case Conferences, Core Groups, and Looked After Reviews
Person Specification
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Sound knowledge of GIRFEC, Child Protection procedures, and relevant Scottish legislation
