We have an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our dedicated team in Erith at the Erith Health Centre. This full-time locum role, offering a dynamic work environment, is set to span over 3 months. What you will do:

• Deliver impactful 1:1 sessions and facilitate group work focused on substance use, including SMART groups.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 40-45 clients with diverse needs, from opioid substitution therapy to low-level use.
• Complete and maintain compliance documentation such as TOPs, care plans, risk assessments, and physical health screens.
• Carry out comprehensive assessments demonstrating expertise in substances, harm reduction strategies, relapse prevention, needle exchange, and safeguarding.
• Confidently use case management databases, ensuring you hit the ground running from day one.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team and provide support to colleagues whenever needed.
• Commit to working on-site Monday to Friday with one Tuesday fortnightly shift from 11:30 to 19:30 to facilitate the SMART group.
