What you will do:
- Undertake roles of Child Protection Chair under current procedures, ensuring the safeguarding of children is always the top priority.
- Chair Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPCs) and review conferences to effectively manage and oversee care plans.
- Liaise closely with multi-agency professionals for risk analysis and determine appropriate strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Monitor and review the progress of care plans, ensuring that all objectives are on track and contributing to child safety.
- Uphold responsibilities of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), handling allegations against professionals with a meticulous approach.
- Organise and lead meetings to facilitate crucial information sharing amongst agencies when required.
- Follow up on ongoing investigations to ensure all parties fulfill their responsibilities as per agreed plans.
