Social Work Team Manager - Early Help and Prevention in Havering UK - £325.11 per day. Full-time role, ongoing with a 36 hr work week. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic Early Help and Prevention Team, directly contributing to the development of locality working. Situated in Havering, you will guide our targeted early help team and play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of children young people and families. With four days in the office per week and the remainder remote, this hybrid role offers a mix of stability and flexibility to keep things interesting.

What you will do:
- Operationally lead the Locality Targeted Early Help Team, driving improved outcomes for children young people and families.
- Provide oversight of team performance ensuring accountability and maintaining high professional standards.
- Manage and supervise Early Help Seniors and Practitioners ensuring appropriate interventions are given based on assessed needs.
- Oversee case management processes including supervising auditing and ensuring timely allocation of cases.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies, particularly health services and schools to develop Family Hub services.
- Chair locality panels and represent the service at multi-agency panels and partnership meetings.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure high-quality interventions and service improvement.
- Lead Early Help within MASH and participate in supervising Early Help Workers and making threshold decisions.
- Manage budgets effectively ensuring accountability and value for money.
- Facilitate effective step-up and step-down processes with Social Care ensuring correct protocols are followed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices related to Early Help and Family Support services.
