What you will do:
- Undertake Child and Family Assessments in response to referrals, identifying risk, need, and protective factors.
- Respond to safeguarding concerns, including Section 47 enquiries, ensuring immediate action where children are at risk of harm.
- Manage a complex caseload, developing and reviewing child protection and children in need plans.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver coordinated safeguarding interventions.
- Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, reviews, and court proceedings, and provide evidence where required.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Degree or Masters in Social Work (or equivalent).
- Evidence of continued professional development.
Registration & Compliance:
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and relevant statutory guidance.
- Enhanced DBS clearance required for this role to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
