What you will do:
- Lead and manage a team of social workers within the Child Protection service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to children and families
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local policies, safeguarding children effectively and efficiently
- Supervise and appraise staff members, fostering their professional growth and maintaining a motivated team environment
- Make informed and timely decisions on complex cases, using your expertise to guide outcomes
- Liaise with other professionals, stakeholders, and agencies to promote collaborative working and excellent service provision

Requirements for the Team Manager:
- Hold a degree or equivalent in social work, recognised in the UK
- Current registration with Social Work England is essential
- Demonstrated recent managerial experience in roles such as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager
- Extensive frontline experience in Children’s Services, specifically within a managerial capacity
