What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive Initial Assessments to evaluate the needs and circumstances of children and families
- Lead the initiation of Care Proceedings and prepare for initial case conferences
- Carry out thorough assessments under the single assessment framework to determine appropriate interventions
- Develop and implement Care Planning and signposting to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Complete detailed risk assessments and write reports for initial child protection case conferences
- Participate in essential case conferences as a key team member
- Draft detailed Section 17 reports for use in family courts and compose initial court statements
- Apply for emergency care orders when necessary and represent cases in court
- Conduct home visits to monitor and safeguard children effectively
- Chair meetings to coordinate care and ensure collaborative efforts
