Senior Children Social Worker - Child Protection/Looked After Children/Court Work - Wembley, UK - £39.82 Hourly. Ongoing role. This is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced Senior Children Social Worker to join a dynamic team in Wembley, specialising in Child Protection, Looked After Children, and Court Work. This position offers flexibility with core hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, including the possibility of full-time or part-time work.

What you will do:

• Assessments: Conduct Core, pre-birth, and risk assessments

• Safeguarding: Undertake Section 47 Child Protection investigations

• Court Work: Prepare and present Statements, Section 7 and 37 reports

• Representation: Represent the authority in court and provide evidence

• Home Visits: Monitor child safety through regular visits

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records

• Meeting Leadership: Lead core group meetings and participate in case conferences

• Collaboration: Work with multi-agency professionals including police

• Care Proceedings: Initiate and manage care proceedings end-to-end

• Care Planning: Develop, review, and implement Care Plans

• Contact Supervision: Oversee contact sessions where required

• Reporting: Compile detailed case conference reports

• Planning: Complete Child in Need plans effectively
