Pay Rates

• Weekday (Day): £14.60 per hour

• Weekday (Night): £15.15 per hour

• Saturday (Day): £15.15 per hour

• Saturday (Night): £15.70 per hour

• Sunday (Day): £15.70 per hour

• Sunday (Night): £16.25 per hour

• Bank Holiday (Day & Night): £17.95 per hour

About the Role

Seven Resourcing are recruiting experienced Senior Carers / HCAs to work across residential and nursing care homes in Middlesbrough.

This position is suitable for confident, experienced care professionals who are competent in administering medication and supporting residents with more complex health needs. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care while assisting with the smooth running of shifts.

Shift Information

This is flexible, ad-hoc shift work.

Shifts may be offered in advance or at short notice depending on client demand. Hours are not guaranteed each week and can vary.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely administer medication in line with MAR charts and care plans

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting

• Support residents with mobility, nutrition, and hydration

• Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing

• Support individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, and long-term conditions

• Assist in guiding and supporting care staff during shifts

• Maintain accurate care documentation and handovers

• Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety policies

• Deliver care in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Senior Carer or HCA

• Proven experience administering medication within a care home setting

• Experience within residential or nursing home environments

• A reliable, professional, and compassionate approach

• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Right to work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
