Pay Rates

• Weekday (Day): £28.00 per hour

• Weekday (Night): £28.55 per hour

• Saturday (Day): £29.05 per hour

• Saturday (Night): £30.00 per hour

• Sunday (Day): £30.60 per hour

• Sunday (Night): £31.50 per hour

• Bank Holiday (Day & Night): £40.00 per hour

About the Role

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work within residential and nursing care homes across Hull.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified nurses seeking flexible care home shifts with competitive agency pay rates. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to elderly residents, many of whom may be living with dementia, complex health conditions, or long-term illnesses.

As an RGN in a care home setting, you will lead shifts, oversee care staff, and ensure safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care is delivered at all times.

Shift Information

This is flexible, ad-hoc shift work.

Shifts may be offered in advance or at short notice depending on client demand. Hours are not guaranteed each week and can vary.

This role suits nurses looking for flexibility or additional income alongside other commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care in line with NMC standards

• Administer medication and manage controlled drugs

• Complete clinical assessments and develop care plans

• Monitor residents’ health and respond to clinical changes

• Lead and support care staff during shifts

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and handovers

• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures

• Deliver care in line with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines

Essential Requirements

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)

• Minimum 6 months UK nursing experience, ideally within a care home or elderly care setting

• Strong clinical skills and medication management experience

• Ability to lead shifts confidently and professionally

• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays

• Right to work in the UK

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
