About the Role
Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting experienced Senior Carers / HCAs to support residential and nursing care homes across Hull.
This role is specifically for candidates who are confident and competent in administering medication and supporting residents with more complex care needs. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting junior staff on shift.

Shift Information
This is flexible, ad-hoc shift work.
Shifts may be offered in advance or at short notice depending on client demand. Hours are not guaranteed each week and can vary.

Key Responsibilities

Administer medication safely in line with care plans and MAR charts

Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting

Support residents with mobility, meals, and hydration
-
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or wellbeing

Support individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, and long-term conditions

Assist with supervising and guiding care staff during shifts

Maintain accurate care documentation and complete handovers

Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures

Deliver care in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines
Essential Requirements

Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Senior Carer or Health Care Assistant

Proven experience administering medication within a care home setting

Experience in residential care homes or nursing homes

A professional, reliable, and compassionate approach

Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

Strong communication and leadership skills
-
Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
