What You Will Do

  • Manage a diverse and complex Children and Families caseload.

  • Undertake assessments and reviews to promote the welfare and safety of children.

  • Prepare detailed welfare reports and represent children’s interests in court when required.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to implement effective safeguarding strategies.

  • Travel across Kent to visit children, providing essential support and care — especially in emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent (DipSW, CQSW).

  • Completion of ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).

  • Post-qualification experience managing complex caseloads within a Children’s Services environment.
