Role responsibilities

Multi-disciplinary collaboration: Work with a dynamic team, tackling approximately four cases per week that vary in complexity.

Assessments and recommendations: Conduct assessments and make informed recommendations for major adaptations and complex equipment needs.

Technical expertise: Prepare detailed sketches and read plans, offering specifications for significant works related to manual handling.

Manual handling procedures: Ensure that all manual handling actions are safe, efficient, and in line with best practices.

Person-centred support: Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals with various health conditions and create tailored support plans for both patients and their carers.

Team participation: Contribute to team duties, helping ensure holistic support and the best possible outcomes for patients.
Person specification
Essential:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Full UK driving license (confident car driver).

Experience in manual handling procedures and complex equipment assessments.
