What you will do:

• Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate.
• Support triage and help reduce duplication between health and social care to shorten OT waiting lists.
• Assist external care providers in implementing safe moving and handling tasks.
• Complete reviews of care packages to ensure optimum service value and effective use of equipment.
• Evaluate double-handed care packages.
• Review waking night care arrangements.
• Assess packages of care and provide mutual aid to other OT areas as needed.
• Perform timely occupational therapy assessments and reviews throughout the directorate.
