What you will do:
- Provide expert assessment, provision, and review of specialist equipment and adaptations for children with disabilities.
- Work collaboratively with families and children, ensuring they are engaged and open to the Occupational Therapy Service.
- Develop comprehensive action plans to promote independence or reduce risk, addressing the unique needs of each child.
- Liaise effectively with staff at all levels in Children’s Services, including working closely with the Team Manager.
- Carry out ongoing assessments to determine the evolving needs of children and young people, taking a proactive approach to their care.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Must have a driving licence to facilitate travel as part of the role and enhance service delivery.
