Join our team as an Advanced Practitioner - Looked After Children / Children in Care Team in Liverpool, UK, earning a competitive £40 per hour on a locum basis. This exciting opportunity spans over 3 months, offering both full-time and part-time arrangements with a focus on delivering high-quality care to children. You will be working 35 hours per week at this specialist service with an initial 3-month contract, including 2 to 3 days on site each week and full duty on site once a month.

What you will do

  • Serve in our specialist service as an experienced UASC Social Worker for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, bringing your expertise in completing UASC and Age Assessments.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding and experience of working with Looked After Children / Children in Care.
  • Apply your sound knowledge of children's legislation, statutory guidance, processes, procedures, and frameworks to ensure high standards of care.
  • Participate in regular supervision to discuss cases and receive professional guidance and support.
  • Drive best practice and continually seek to improve the quality of care provided.
