An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Physiotherapist specialising in Occupational Health and Musculoskeletal (MSK) to join a dynamic team in Oldham on a part-time, 6-month locum contract. What you will do:
- Deliver Occupational Health and Physiotherapy services with a focus on facilitating early return to work through functional assessments and evidence-based treatments.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments both in-person and remotely.
- Educate and advise management on employees' fitness to work, recommending necessary workplace adjustments.
- Perform DSE and other work-based tasks assessments, offering insightful recommendations to improve workplace ergonomics.
- Ensure compliance with national clinical standards, leading rehabilitation processes with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with management to offer guidance on workplace fitness and related adjustments.
- Manage workplace assessments, focusing on procedural improvements and ergonomic solutions.
- Stay updated with national clinical standards and integrate them into rehabilitation programs.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Possess recent UK experience in specialized physiotherapy settings.
- Be registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist in the UK.
- NHS experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
