What you will do:

  • Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and EHC Plans, ensuring all statutory timescales are efficiently met.

  • Coordinate and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they are person-centred and outcome-focused.

  • Liaise effectively with schools, parents/carers, health, and social care professionals to gather necessary advice and ensure effective provision is in place.

  • Ensure full compliance with SEND legislation and statutory guidance, including the SEND Code of Practice for 0–25 years.

Person Specification:

  • Qualifications: Possess a Degree or equivalent qualification. A background in education, social care, or a related field is desirable.

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development to keep abreast of current practices and legislation.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, specifically the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice for 0–25 years.

  • Enhanced DBS clearance is essential for the role.
