Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant

Liverpool, L8 | £500–£560 per week | Full-time | Immediate Start

Are you a Graduate looking to start your career in education and gain valuable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

We are currently working with an amazing, high-achieving primary school in the L8 area of Liverpool who are looking to welcome a passionate and dedicated Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant to their warm and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience before progressing into teaching, SEN, educational psychology, childcare or a related career.

The Role

You will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning and develop both academically and personally.

Your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN
• Delivering targeted interventions where appropriate
• Supporting pupils with their learning, confidence and development
• Assisting the main classroom teacher with day-to-day classroom support
• Helping pupils engage with lessons and activities
• Supporting individual learning plans and strategies
• Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Working alongside the school's SENCO and wider support team
