General Manager - Tech-Led Entertainment and Dining Venue

Location: London
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000+ bonus

About the Role

I am recruiting a General Manager for an upscale, tech-enhanced entertainment venue combining a fun, social games experience with great food and a full bar. You will be accountable for the venue’s strategic and operational performance, delivering on revenue, service, food and beverage, and games targets in an efficient and profitable way. You will be the face of the brand on the floor and lead the team by example.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the venue’s business strategy with the Operations Director, turning it into clear plans and targets for each department
Own the venue’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, margin, stock, waste, payroll and EBITDA
Oversee the full guest journey, responding quickly to feedback and maintaining brand standards
Grow revenue through events, bookings, promotions and partnerships
Manage stock, purchasing, rotas and payroll accurately and on time
Ensure food safety, hygiene and health and safety compliance, and keep equipment well maintained

About You

At least 3 years at General Manager or Assistant General Manager in high volume hospitality business.
Proven leadership of teams, leading by example with strong motivational skills
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
Experience across front-of-house and back-of-house operations
Track record of delivering excellent guest service and handling complaints well
Commercial focus, with experience driving revenue through events, partnerships or new business
Experience recruiting, training, rotating and developing staff
Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety regulations
Good supplier, stock and procurement management
Calm decision-making under pressure and strong problem-solving skills
