Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, complex fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on a range of production machinery. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work on PLC systems (basic fault finding), motors, drives and electrical drawings, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency across site.
Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
· Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
· Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
· Experience of complex electrical fault finding.
· Experience working with PLC systems (basic), motors, drives and interpreting electrical drawings.
Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
· Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience.
· Experience carrying out pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
· Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and controls.
· Supervisory or leadership experience (required for top end of salary bracket).
Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
· Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
· 18th Edition qualification.
· Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
