What you will do:
- Provide supervision and planning for your team within Adult Services to ensure the delivery of business objectives.
- Conduct effective appraisals and supervision to foster continuous improvement of Council services.
- Ensure compliance with Safeguarding Adults policies and legislation at both local and national levels.
- Support staff in maintaining and elevating professional standards.
- Promote a strengths-based model of self-directed support, empowering service users and carers to create outcome-focused solutions.
- Directly supervise selected staff, manage workload distribution, and oversee performance management.
- Manage financial aspects of the service, ensuring work remains within budget while promoting independence and strengths-based approaches.
- Uphold high standards of practice and ensure service delivery meets departmental expectations while remaining accountable to the Team Manager.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment, supporting health and care integration plans across Hackney.
- Work closely with the Team Manager and Consultant Social Worker to balance service development and frontline practice.
- Operate within a performance management and budgetary framework.
- Contribute to the development of Quality Assurance Frameworks, including Safeguarding, in partnership with the Quality Assurance Team and key stakeholders.
