What you will do:

• Act as the planning lead for the procurement of Ashenhurst, establishing it as a premier off-site Biodiversity Net Gain project.
• Develop a pipeline of potential additional off-site Biodiversity Net Gain sites, ensuring the continuity and expansion of environmental projects.
• Liaise strategically with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Greater Manchester Ecological Unit on key Biodiversity Net Gain issues.
• Review and refine the Development Management approach to delivering Biodiversity Net Gain through development processes.
• Support and integrate Biodiversity Net Gain elements into the new Arcus system to streamline workflows.
• Lead on the Biodiversity Net Gain policy area for the Manchester Local Plan, guiding the process towards the Reg19 consultation and refining draft policies and evidence.
