Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Operations

Collaborate across UHS laboratories at RSCH, PRH, WH, and SRH, utilising your specialised knowledge in Chemistry automation, Special Chemistry, Haematology, or Blood Transfusion.

Operate and manage advanced laboratory equipment including Roche, Abbott, Sysmex analysers, and others, ensuring precise and timely results.

Work with Winpath and Qpulse IT systems for documentation and compliance, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

Participate in quality control and troubleshooting processes, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
Training & Mentorship

Provide training and guidance to colleagues, promoting a high standard of scientific integrity within the team.

Share your expertise as a Training Officer, mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development.

Essential Requirements

HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a relevant laboratory specialism, including Chemistry automation, Haematology, or Blood Transfusion.

Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is desirable, to facilitate travel between multiple sites.
