What you will do:
- Utilise your expertise in the acute ward setting, bringing autonomy to managing your caseload with patients experiencing complex swallowing and communication disorders.
- Independently assess, treat, and manage adults in inpatient settings, specifically focusing on complex dysphagia cases.
- Work across a variety of acute wards, including general medical, surgical, oncology, critical care, and care for the elderly, adapting to diverse patient needs.
- Deliver individualised and evidence-based rehabilitation programmes, supporting recovery and improving patient quality of life.
Requirements:
- Must be fully competent in managing dysphagia cases independently.
- HCPC registration is necessary, ensuring the highest standards of professional practice.
- A valid driving licence is essential, enabling you to respond swiftly to patient needs across various sites.
