What you will do:
- Perform efficient sectioning and embedding on a diverse range of paraffin processed tissue blocks.
- Utilise modern, rotary microtomes and embedding stations with proficiency and attention to detail.
- Take charge of BMS cut-up procedures, handling category A specimens with expertise.
- There may be opportunities to work in the Immunohistochemistry (IHC) section; experience using IHC platforms such as Dako OMNIS and Roche Ventana will be beneficial.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high standards in the cellular pathology laboratory.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Being a car driver is preferable to provide flexibility in commuting.
