We are seeking enthusiastic Band 3 Support Workers to join the Adult Disability Service in beautiful Guernsey, UK. This full-time locum position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact while earning £23 per hour. The initial contracts are for three months with ASAP start dates. This flexible role allows you to utilise your supporting skills in picturesque settings, with the possibility of using your LTD company for payment as it falls outside of IR35.

What you will do:

• Work across various settings, including residential homes and supported living environments, offering support to individuals with learning disabilities as part of the Adult Disability Service team.
• Follow a shift system providing 24/7 support, collaborating closely with colleagues and senior staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Deliver active support, encouraging service users to participate in daily activities such as cleaning, shopping, and meal preparation.
• Act as a key worker, maintaining high standards in line with service principles, procedures, and quality standards.
• Deliver exceptional physical and emotional care to service users, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
• Hold a valid driving licence (this may be negotiable with the manager depending on the area).
