Your role will be based at Warehouse 8, Hull (HU1 1HJ), where you'll join Hull’s Adult Social Care team to support individuals in living more independent and fulfilling lives, rather than just receiving a service.

What You Will Do:

• Manage complex adult social care cases, including those with high-risk factors.
• Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Lead on safeguarding matters, including conducting Section 42 enquiries.
• Apply key legislative frameworks such as the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights Act.
• Support individuals, families, and carers using a strengths-based, solution-focused approach.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
• Contribute to court work and report writing as necessary.
• Support and mentor less experienced staff to enhance team capability.

Requirements:
A seasoned Adult Social Worker with extensive experience in managing complex cases. Someone who is decisive and capable of working independently while also contributing to overall team success. A solid grasp of adult social care legislation and safeguarding practices. Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment and enhance team performance.
