What you will do:
- Deliver safe and timely front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate.
- Assist with triaging and help reduce duplication between health and social care, aiming to cut down occupational therapy waiting lists.
- Support external care providers ensuring the accurate and safe performance of moving and handling tasks.
- Review care packages to assure best value and optimal use of equipment for Adult Social Care.
- Conduct assessments and plan double-handed care packages for efficient service delivery.
- Provide mutual aid to other occupational therapy areas as necessary.
- Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations across the directorate.
Requirements:
- Must hold an HCPC registration, ensuring professional standards are met.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential as it empowers you to reach clients in various locations efficiently.
