What you will do:
- Lead and manage the Care Experienced Team, ensuring efficient and effective social work practice.
- Develop, implement and monitor service plans to ensure high standards of care and outcomes for service users.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with other agencies and community services to enhance support for children and families.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and local procedures, promoting safe and ethical social work practices.
- Contribute strategically to the overall goals of the Children’s Services in Knowsley, using your significant frontline experience in Children’s Services leadership roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.

Requirements of the Team Manager:
- A degree or equivalent in social work is essential.
- Current registration with Social Work England is required.
- Recent experience in a managerial role within Children’s Services is crucial, including roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
