The Post-16 provision is based on a separate site across the road, giving a unique opportunity to support older learners as well.
The Role – Graduate Speech & Communication Teaching Assistant:
As a Graduate Speech & Communication Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with pupils to support their communication development, confidence, and access to learning. The Graduate Speech & Communication Teaching Assistant role involves both 1:1 and small-group interventions, classroom support, and helping to deliver tailored strategies for pupils with diverse needs. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure to complex SEN, from speech and language needs to physical disabilities, in a supportive and well-led environment.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Speech & Communication Teaching Assistant:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, resilient, and eager to learn
- Experience with SEN, care, or youth work is helpful but not essential
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
