What You Will Do:

• Conduct assessments and provide written reports to the court advocating for arrangements that are in the child's best interest.

• Work directly with children to obtain their views and wishes in the context of family court proceedings.

• Undertake risk assessments and mediation to support effective resolutions.

• Provide expert testimony in court as needed, drawing on your robust experience and insights.

• Collaborate with legal professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.

The vacancy we are recruiting for is the role of a Qualified Children's Social Worker in the Liverpool area. Although based in our Liverpool office, the role offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance that suits your needs. You will be joining our Private & Public Law team, assisting families in making crucial decisions for child arrangements during court proceedings. Your input will be instrumental in shaping positive outcomes for the children involved.

We are looking for a Social Work England registered social worker who is organised, resilient, and able to work independently. Experience working with children and families is essential, along with a background in Section 7 - Private Law work. Your confidence and ability to navigate complex family dynamics will be key to your success in this role.
